About the Book
Using stories as a backdrop, the book delivers current veterinary information that every pet owner needs. It is a behind the scenes view of a veterinary hospital showing readers what happens on the other side of the "employees only" door. The stories are irreverent, bitingly satirical on occasion, often humerious, and sometimes tragic. Every story has a purpose, as does every chapter.
The Target audience is anyone who loves their pets. It is a compilation of what Barak has learned after thirty-five years in this profession. It delivers the information that people have been wanting all those years in a pleasure to read format. The book is meant as a reference of sorts, but also as a good read. The book chronicles Barak's life with pets. From a childhood in Isreal, to a stint in Zurich, Switzerland, for three years, to a great city of Yonkers, New York. It is in a very small way the story Barake's life with animals and what he has learned through each of the health disorders he's treated in his own pets.
About the Author | Dr. Barak Benaryeh
Dr. Benaryeh is an Austin veterinarian whose claim to fame goes way beyond the beautiful Bark Mitzvahs thrown, monkeys treated, crazy clients he has encountered, or oddball situations his life has place him in. He grew up in New York with lots of animals. He is board certified and despite that and a book, still works like the rest of us.
