AUSYPAA Convention 2026

We Victorian Young People in Alcoholics Anonymous are a committee that host events through the year to fullfill our primary purpose, to carry the message to the sick and suffering alcoholic. In doing this, we also get to provide an environment for anyone new to the rooms of AA, as well as current members, to come together and celebrate recovery, enjoy fellowship together, and have fun in sobriety!

This year we are priveleged to be hosting the national YPAA convention for Australia, AUSYPAA. This will run over three days, at Fitzroy Town Hall, with a lineup of AA speakers, speaking on recovery, fellowship and service! There will also be Al Anon participation with Al Anon meetings. We will be having a Halloween themed dinner and dance party on the Saturday night! We look forward to this event to celebrate recovery, and to carry the message to the next sick and suffering alcoholic.

Food and drink will be provided. Morning tea, coffee and dinner at our Halloween Dinner and Dance. Otherwise there are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby !

Being right in the heart of Fitzroy, there's parking limits around and close to venue, so we recommend arriving early to get parking! The venue is otherwise easily accesible via public transportation.
