Join us for an unforgettable evening at the G Hotel Gurney as we gather to celebrate friendship, service, and community against the backdrop of a beautiful Penang sunset. Enjoy exceptional food, refreshing drinks, and great company while reconnecting with friends old and new.
As the sun sets and the evening comes alive, dance the night away to the sounds of the Royal Australian Air Force Band (TBC) and create lasting memories with fellow members of the Australian Defence community and their guests.
We look forward to welcoming you for a relaxed and sophisticated evening of celebration by the sea.
Each early bird ticket will be RM450 and will include:
- Entry to the ball
- Welcome drink and canapes
- 4-course meal
- Free flow beer, wine and softdrinks
- Entertainment from the Royal Australian Air Force Band (TBC)
- Access to a photo booth, 360 degree photo booth and other entertainment
- Roaming photographer (with access to photos after the event)

Dress Code: Sunset Cocktail Formal
Dress to enjoy a stylish evening by the sea. Think light fabrics, bright or neutral colours, and smart, comfortable clothing.
- Ladies: Cocktail, midi or maxi dresses, or a dressy jumpsuit.
- Gentlemen: Dress shirt with trousers, with or without a jacket. A suit is welcome, but a tie is not required.
Please avoid shorts, denim, T-shirts and thongs.
