Austin Forum Sessions | "The AI Doc: How I Became an Apocaloptimist" Film Screening & Panel
Join the Austin Forum on Technology & Society at Violet Crown Cinema for an exclusive screening of "The AI Doc: Or How I Became an Apocaloptimist", followed by an engaging interactive panel discussion!
Start the evening connecting with fellow tech leaders, creators, and community members during a pre-movie networking reception in the theater lounge (starting at 6:15pm) before heading into the auditorium (6:50pm) for the feature presentation (7:00pm).
Following the screening (8:45pm), stay for an insightful Q&A panel with Mike Ignatowski and Dr. Mike Brooks. Drawing on their own newly launched AI documentary initiative, they will unpack the film's core themes, share behind-the-scenes perspectives on documenting artificial intelligence, and explore the societal, psychological, and technological trajectories of an AI-driven future, inviting the audience to join the dialogue and ask their own questions.
