The Aussie Bird Count is a fun, easy way for all of us to take a national snapshot of the birds around us as we connect with nature. With just 20 minutes, you can help build a picture of how our feathered friends are faring and contribute to something that really counts.Meet at the Bean Tree Cafe in Olive Pink Botanic Garden at 6am for a 6.10am start. No experience needed - bring binoculars if you happen to have them. Great for newbies and old hats - join us for a cup of tea after if you like.
With one in six Australian birds facing the threat of extinction, this it's important that we pay attention to our feathered friends. See you there!
