Every community begins somewhere. Ours begins with getting to know one another.
We are delighted to invite you to the very first gathering of La Casa Aurora, an afternoon dedicated to genuine human connection, meaningful conversations, and the possibilities that arise when we come together.
A little about La Casa Aurora
La Casa Aurora is a newly established community initiative created to foster deeper human interaction and bring people together through the three Cs:
Connection • Community • Co-creation
Through our gatherings, we hope to create space for intergenerational wisdom, creativity, wellbeing, and belonging.
The name is inspired by Aurora, the mother of one of our founders, and by what the word itself represents: dawn, a new day, and the possibility of new beginnings.
What is this gathering about?
This first gathering invites you to meet other women, discover common interests and hobbies, and explore possible collaborations.
We won’t have a formal agenda, sales pitches, or anything you need to prepare.
Just come as you are and enjoy getting to know the women in our local community: the mothers, daughters, aunties, grandmothers, entrepreneurs, creatives, community builders, and wise women whose voices, experiences, and gifts we want to discover and celebrate.
Mommas, keep reading! We’re working to make this possible for you too.
We are currently planning to have 1–2 childcare support persons on site for a limited number of children during part of the gathering.
Spaces will be limited and arranged in advance, so if bringing your child is what would make it possible for you to attend, please contact us at [email protected] before registering.
Let’s share what moves us, what we enjoy doing, and what we would love more of in our community.
This is a chance to build trust and relationships, one conversation at a time.
What to expect
- A warm and welcoming space for informal conversations and connection
- An opportunity to introduce yourself and learn about others
- A few simple moments to slow down, connect, and be fully present
- Space to exchange ideas, explore collaborations, and discover new connections
- A few little surprises along the way, including creative offerings and shared talents
- Light refreshments
Women from our own community will share some of these special moments.
We’ll keep a few details as a surprise!

Location: Centre Communautaire Tétreau, 361 Boulevard de Lucerne, Gatineau, QC
Suggested community contribution: $15–$25 per adult
Your contribution helps cover the venue and event expenses.
If cost is a limitation, please reach out to us at [email protected].
Community building is our priority, and we would not want the contribution to be the reason you cannot attend.
We would love for you to be part of this beginning!

Un peu sur La Casa Aurora
La Casa Aurora est une nouvelle initiative communautaire créée pour favoriser des liens humains plus profonds et rassembler les gens autour de trois idées simples :
Connexion • Communauté • Co-création
À travers nos rencontres, nous souhaitons créer des espaces qui valorisent la sagesse intergénérationnelle, la créativité, le bien-être et le sentiment d’appartenance.
Le nom est inspiré d’Aurora, la mère de l’une de nos fondatrices, mais aussi de ce que ce mot représente : l’aube, un nouveau jour et la possibilité d’un nouveau départ.
De quoi s’agit-il?
Cette première rencontre est une invitation à faire connaissance avec d’autres femmes de notre communauté, découvrir des intérêts communs et voir quelles nouvelles connexions peuvent naturellement émerger.
Il n’y aura pas de réseautage formel, de présentations commerciales ni quoi que ce soit à préparer.
Venez simplement comme vous êtes et prenez le temps de rencontrer les mères, filles, tantes, grand-mères, entrepreneures, créatives, bâtisseuses de communauté et femmes d’expérience qui font partie de notre région.
Pour les mamans
Les places pour l’espace supervisé seront limitées et organisées à l’avance. Si le fait de pouvoir venir avec votre enfant est ce qui vous permettrait de participer, écrivez-nous à [email protected] avant de vous inscrire afin que nous puissions confirmer la disponibilité.
