Welcome to AURA — a high-vibe, conscious networking space for women who value connection, growth and meaningful relationships, both personally and professionally.
AURA was created from a genuine desire to bring together like-minded female founders, business owners and corporate women who want more than surface-level networking. This is a space to feel seen, supported and inspired — without pressure, pretence or awkward small talk.

AURA was founded by Nicola, a Positive Psychology Coach specialising in female empowerment and wellbeing. Positive Psychology is the science of happiness, fulfilment and human potential — and at the heart of this work is one powerful truth:

Nicola is passionate about creating a community where women can connect authentically, elevate their mindset and unlock their potential — supported by science, self-belief and shared experience.

Nicola is a Life Mastery & Strengths Coach, business owner and founder of Aura, a community for women in business. She is passionate about helping ambitious women build confidence, gain clarity and succeed in their careers and businesses without burning out or sacrificing their health, relationships or happiness. Using a science backed Positive Psychology framework & a results driven approach, to ensure that success feels as good on the inside, as it looks on the outside!

What we’ll be doing
Our guest speaker for September is Positive Psychology Coach, Nicola Smithson, who will be leading an uplifting and interactive workshop on the power of your character strengths.
Before the event, you’ll receive a link to complete the free VIA Character Strengths Survey, helping you discover the positive qualities that are most naturally present in you.
During the workshop, Nicola will help you:
- Understand your unique strengths and what they reveal about you
- Recognise how your strengths support your confidence, wellbeing and performance
- Explore how to use them more intentionally in your work and everyday life
- Identify practical ways to draw on your strengths as you move into the final quarter of the year
You’ll leave with greater self-awareness, renewed confidence and practical insights you can put into action straight away.
Alongside the workshop, there will be plenty of time to connect with a warm and welcoming community of women in business over coffee and croissants.
