Auditions are now open for Ekklesia Theatre’s production of Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol by Tom Mula, directed by Parker Brown!AUDITION DETAILS:
• Date & Time: Tuesday, September 29, 6:30pm–9:30pm
• Location: U.S. Digital Outreach Center
• Auditions will take place in 20-minute time slots, with four actors in each group.

ABOUT THE PLAY
“Marley was dead, to begin with…” But what happened to Ebenezer Scrooge’s mean, sour, pruney old business partner after that? Chained and shackled, Marley is condemned to a hellish eternity with his own malicious little tormentor. Desperate to escape, he accepts his one chance at freedom: before he can break his own chains, he must first redeem Scrooge. So begins a journey filled with laughter and terror, redemption and renewal. Scrooge’s heart is opened, but not before Marley discovers that he may need redemption too.

• Actor 1: Jacob Marley, Young Marley, Christmas Past and Present, and a Boy
• Actor 2: Bogle (a minor demon, but a major character) and a Little Girl
• Actor 3: Scrooge, Young Scrooge, and a Damned Soul
• Actor 4: Fezziwig, Record Keeper, a Damned Woman, Fred, Bob Cratchit, Dick Wilkins, Marley’s Father, and the Shadow
PERFORMANCE DATES
• Friday, December 11 at 7:30 p.m.
• Saturday, December 12 at 2:00 and 7:30 p.m.
• Friday, December 18 at 7:30 p.m.
• Saturday, December 19 at 2:00 and 7:30 p.m.
Performances will be held at the Coffee Church in Vancouver.
Compensation:
$200 stipend paid at final show
