Please arrive to auditions on time with 32 bars prepared from an appropriate rock, pop, gospel, or musical theatre song (not from the show) that shows the best of your range. Bring sheet music (an accompanist will be provided), or you may bring your own musical accompaniment tracks. No acapella auditions. Come dressed for dance/movement exercises. You may also be asked to sing material from the show.
A Cast of 30-40 adults, age 18 and up, will be utilized for this production. As for the "age" of any character, the number matters far less than the energy and vibes you project onstage. We hope to create a world as diverse as the one Jesus may have lived in, and the one He would most certainly live in now. There are no preconceived notions or expectations in regards to age, ethnicity, gender, body type, or identity in casting; every role is an open slate right now. That being said, all cast must still be able to move without major limitations (stairs, ladders, running, dancing, etc).
*It is important to delete your name from the list if your plans to audition change. Do NOT take up a spot on the list if you just "might" audition. This list is an appointment; no showing when time has been reserved for you is highly frowned upon. Others may need your spot. Thank you!
