AUDITION INFO VOICES OF THE NORTH 2027Voices of the North returns February 11–13, 2027 as part of the Prince Albert Winter Festival!
Auditions will take place Sunday, November 1, 2026 at Rock Trout Cafe, 903 Central Ave in Prince Albert.
Registration opens at 11 AM and closes at 7 PM. Auditions begin at 12 PM.
Audition Guidelines & Tips for Vocalists
• Please come prepared with your song and music ahead of time and know your lyrics!
• You may sing with a live instrument or with a backing track, but backing tracks must not include vocals.
• Unless you are auditioning as a duet or group, no additional vocalists are allowed — this is your time to shine as a performer.
• Choose a song that best shows your vocal strength, range, and storytelling ability.
• Take time to warm up before your audition, and remember that confidence and stage presence count as much as vocal ability.
• Dress up! Everyone who auditions will receive a professional headshot from All My Relations Photography.
A big thank you to our sponsors and supporters who help make Voices of the North possible: Missinipi Broadcasting Corporation, Prince Albert Winter Festival, Rock Trout Cafe, and All My Relations Creative Connections.
