About this Event
Attachment Lives in the Nervous System: Embodying Attachment Theory
Discover how attachment theory comes alive in the therapy room in this engaging three-hour experiential in-person workshop. Participants will deepen their understanding of attachment patterns, co-regulation, nervous-system safety cues, relational repair and therapeutic presence - and explore how these shape the therapeutic relationship.
Through guided attachment reflection, attendees will learn to recognise attachment dynamics, respond more effectively to relational distress and support greater safety and connection with clients. Participants will leave with an embodied understanding of attachment and practical approaches they can apply directly in their clinical work.
The workshop is suitable for qualified counsellors and psychotherapists, as well as trainees who have a firm understanding of counselling theory and practice.
CPD: 3 hours
