About this Event
Antonin Artaud coined the phrase, "les athlètes du cœur"
Athletes of the Heart
He was referencing actors. But, this is not an acting class
This is a class for everyone
And it is going to set you free
Do you sense a tense, apprehensive rigidity in your chest?
Do you feel that knotted mass in your gut?
Do you want to let it out? All of it?
Come to class.
We'll get our bodies moving, our blood pumping, our voices warm
And then...
We'll yell
We'll keen
We'll howl
We’ll squeal
We’ll sigh
Rage, Sorrow, Joy, Peace
See you there.
