🎄❤️ ATG + ANGEL TREE - HELPING LOCAL KIDS THIS CHRISTMAS ❤️🎄
This year, we want the Acadiana Christmas Party to be about more than just cards, food and giveaways.
Acadiana Trade Group is partnering with Angel Tree Christmas to help bless children within approximately a 40-mile radius of Lafayette.
Angel Tree works with families where at least one parent is incarcerated, and the children we are helping also fall within qualifying low-income guidelines.
Applications are vetted through Angel Tree so that we can confidently help families with legitimate needs.
🎁 Each child can be sponsored for just $25.
When I registered Acadiana Trade Group for the program, I committed our nonprofit to helping a minimum of 15 children this Christmas.
Our goal is to work directly from the information provided by each child's parent or guardian and hand-deliver Christmas gifts to the children we sponsor. ❤️ If you would like to volunteer to help shop and deliver gifts, please DM me asap (David Cardona).
Right now, because of the cost of putting on the Christmas Party, ATG does not have extra group funds available to sponsor these children.
So we’re going to work together to change that.
💯 All proceeds raised through our:
🎄 Silent Auction
🍪 Christmas Treat/Bake Sale
🎟️ Additional ATG fundraising waffles leading up to the event
…will go directly toward sponsoring these children for Christmas.
We will also be completely transparent with the money and donations received so our community can see exactly what we raise and how those funds are being used.

🙏 WANT TO HELP?
If you would like to:
🎁 Donate an item for a giveaway, raffle or silent auction
💵 Donate directly toward sponsoring children
💡 Help us with a fundraising idea
🤝 Get involved in another way
Please DM David Cardona ASAP!
Every little bit helps us reach another child. ❤️

🎁🔨 CHRISTMAS SILENT AUCTION - BENEFITING LOCAL KIDS 🔨🎁
We’ll be hosting tables with clipboards for a Silent Auction during the Christmas Party, with proceeds going toward our Angel Tree Christmas effort.
We are currently looking for businesses, vendors and individuals who would like to donate products, services, gift certificates, collectibles or other items for the auction.
💯 Proceeds from the auction will help sponsor children for Christmas.
Businesses that donate will also receive recognition for supporting the cause, including:
📣 Shoutouts over the microphone during our awards & giveaways
🏢 Business/brand recognition at the event
🖨️ Printed information alongside donated items featuring your logo and ordering/contact information
If your business would like to donate something to the Silent Auction, please DM David Cardona.
Let’s use the size of this community to do something really special for some kids this Christmas. ❤️🎄

🙋♂️🙋♀️ VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! ❤️
An event this size takes a team, and we would LOVE some help from our ATG members who want to get involved!
We’ll need volunteers throughout the day for things like:
🪑 Event setup & breakdown
🎯 Setting up games and activities for the kids
🎮 Helping run kids' games & activity stations
🍲 Serving food & drinks
🎟️ Helping with member check-in & wristbands
🎁 Helping guests with Silent Auction questions
🧹 Cleanup after the event
🤝 General event help wherever needed
You do NOT have to volunteer for the entire event!
You can choose to:
❤️ Help throughout the whole event
⏰ Volunteer for an hourly time slot
🙌 Help with one specific area or activity
Even giving us one hour of your time can make a huge difference and help everything run smoothly.
📩 Want to volunteer? Please DM David Cardona!
We’ll coordinate everyone ahead of time so you know where and when your help is needed.
Thank you to everyone willing to give some of their time to help make this Christmas Party special for our community and the kids! 🎄❤️
