At the World's Edge Festival - Strung

Seven programmes. Four locations. One journey.

Join us for an intimate exploration of lines as boundaries and bridges within the grandeur of the Southern Alps of Aotearoa New Zealand. With internationally renowned artists standing side-by-side with Aotearoa's finest musicians, the programme is further enriched by a range of free events and performances.

Featuring AWE Festival Artists David Fung and Matthew Lipman, performing alongside returning AWE 2026 Pettman Scholars Matthew Seinafo and Christine Jeon, Strung traces connections across generations, where musical lines are passed, reshaped, and renewed.
