About this Event
Join professional photographer Matt Chesebrough to learn all about how to take photos of landscapes after dark. This is a free beginner to intermediate focused photography workshop that helps students learn the basics of capturing images that combine the landscapes with the night sky. We will be hosting the workshop at the Tilton Ranch Complex, located in Morgan Hill.
To gain the most out of this workshop attendees will need to bring their own:
- Camera
- Lens + cleaning equipment
- Tripod
- Batteries + memory cards
- Red light (head lamp or flashlight) - NO white lights
- Clothing layers (to keep you comfortable)
- Snacks and water
- Camping chair or blanket
Optional Equipment:
- Remote shutter release / Intervalometer
- Second camera + tripod.
Please note that this workshop is 5 hours long and will include self-assessment, going over theory and equipment, and then practicing taking your own photos with your own camera.
No equipment will be provided. This workshop is to help attendees use their own materials.
