Fascinated by the different galaxies and stars? Then come and learn more! This Winter the Kempsville Recreation Center is partnering with the Back Bay Amateur Astronomers Club to provide residents with a fun and interactive introductory series on the wonders above. Classes are two part - in class instructional, followed by a stroll outside to look up and see the night skies through telescopes provided. (Weather permitting)A Telescope for Christmas?

- Outdoor observing through telescopes
- Various night sky targets will be viewed outside
- Reservations are required. Class fee $5 per person- center membership or day pass is required, or a qualifying insurance membership such as Silver Sneakers.
- PLEASE NOTE: PARTICIPANTS UNDER THE AGE OF 10 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.
