First: What Exactly Is Astrology?
We’ll start with the questions people are sometimes afraid to ask:
What is astrology?
What is a birth chart?
Why do your birth date, time, and location matter?
And what exactly are you looking at when you see that big circle filled with symbols?
Next: Meet the Three Main Pieces
Lane will introduce you to astrology using one very simple formula:
PLANET = WHAT
What part of you or your life are we talking about?
SIGN = HOW
How does that energy express itself?
HOUSE = WHERE
Where in your life does that energy tend to show up?
That’s it. Baby steps!
You’ll get an easy introduction to the planets, the 12 Zodiac signs, and the houses without trying to memorize all of them at once.
Then: Let’s Look at Your Birth Chart
Once those pieces start making sense, Lane will show you how to actually find them on a birth chart.
You’ll begin identifying planets, signs, and houses and see how they work together to tell a story.
We’ll practice with simple examples and start putting a few pieces together.
The goal isn’t to teach you everything about astrology in one class.
The goal is for you to leave saying:
“Okay! NOW I understand what I’m looking at.”
