This interactive session introduces extremophiles and the adaptations that allow life to survive in extreme environments. Exploring the partnership between science and art, participants will investigate the ways astrobiologists study life on other planets and the artists that help those ideas come alive.Applying what they know, participants will then design their own imaginary creature adapted to an extreme extraterrestrial environment. Through guided activities, they will merge scientific concepts with artistic expression, creating original artwork that reflects real-world biological principles.
No art skills needed – just enthusiasm! Activities designed for ages 13+.
