Assisted Vaginal Birth Delivery is accomplished with the aid of instruments like vacuum or forceps. This is an alternative to caesarean section when indicated, and thus reduces the caesarean section rate. Fernandez Hospital is conducting a Hands-on Workshop on Assisted Vaginal Birth, focusing on vacuum delivery (including KIWI cup) and forceps delivery.
