Assertiveness is the ability to express thoughts, needs, and boundaries clearly and respectfully—without being aggressive or passive. This workshop helps participants understand their current assertiveness level, build self-awareness and confidence, and apply assertive communication techniques in both language and behavior. Through structured frameworks and practical techniques, participants learn how to speak up, handle criticism, say no professionally, and manage conflict without damaging relationships.
Objectives
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Assess their personal level of assertiveness and communication style
  • Use assertive language, tone, and body language effectively

Methodology 1: Self-Assessment and Guided Practice
Participants assess their assertiveness level and communication style, followed by guided practice in reframing statements, applying assertive language, and responding to common workplace scenarios.
Methodology 2: Role-Playing and Scenario-Based Exercises
Realistic role plays and case discussions allow participants to practice assertiveness techniques, manage criticism, say no professionally, and resolve conflicts in a controlled learning environment.
