You don’t have to figure out every next step alone. Join Alongside You Consulting for an informal evening of practical advice, thoughtful conversation, and fresh perspectives with Dr. Spence and Shalini David.

Bring a situation you’re navigating, an idea you’re considering, or a decision you’re unsure about. We’ll talk through your question, explore possible approaches, and help you identify a clearer next step.

The event runs from 6–8 p.m. When registering, choose a 30-minute small-group advice window to share one main question and hear different perspectives.

You’re welcome to join us just for your reserved session or stay longer to work and learn. Bring your laptop or notebook—there will be space to work independently or alongside others before or after your advice window. You’re also welcome to listen to other groups’ discussions, gain ideas from their questions, and learn from shared experiences.

Your reserved window gives you an opportunity to ask your question; you don’t need to reserve additional windows to listen.

Dr. Weymouth Spence brings more than 40 years of leadership experience across higher education, healthcare, and nonprofit organizations, including over 18 years as President of Washington Adventist University. He offers guidance on leadership, team development, strategic planning, governance, fundraising, and organizational change.

Shalini David brings 21 years of nonprofit leadership experience, with a focus on helping small and new organizations navigate challenges, strengthen operations, and move their missions forward.

• This is a shared advice session, not a private consultation or formal class. Other attendees may listen to the discussion.
• The focus is perspective and guidance—not completing tasks, preparing documents, or doing the work for you.
• Please avoid sharing confidential or sensitive information, and be respectful of others’ experiences and perspectives.
• Some challenges require more exploration than a short session allows. Our aim is to help you identify useful options and a practical next step.
