I am delighted to announce the date for our 2027 Annual Brain Injury Case Management Conference. We shall be returning to the Hilton in Coventry on Thursday 11th February.
Programme
This year’s programme will once again feature our popular mix of legal sessions, a personal case study and learning and development.
I am delighted to share details of our first speaker; we are pleased to welcome Luis Williamson from Williamson Care. Luis will be running an afternoon deep dive into the subject of direct employment v agency care. The first session will focus on building and retaining directly employed care teams after brain injury. Bringing together professionals involved in setting up and running directly employed care teams for clients with a brain injury. The speakers will navigate common challenges ranging from family trust to disputed invoices.
The second slot will look at which works better. Drawing on qualitative and quantitative research to unpack both models in a brain injury context, weighing up the pros and cons of each. The aim is to cut through the ambiguity so clients, families and the professionals supporting them can make a properly informed choice on how care is delivered in the home.
Who should attend?
Our day is aimed at Brain Injury Case Managers and other practitioners in the field, inclusive of therapists, support workers, social workers and those with an interest in the Court of Protection. Our aim is to come together and provide an informative and interactive day with the purpose of sharing useful practical points you can take away and apply in your everyday work in this specialist field.
The conference will again be supported by a host of relevant exhibitors who look forward to meeting you and the day continues to be an excellent networking opportunity with colleagues, referrers and suppliers alike.
Staff from Ashtons Legal will be present on the day from our Court of Protection, Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury teams who look forward to meeting you, strengthening existing relationships and building new ones.
