ashtanga vinyasa is a traditional yogasana practice developed by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois following a set sequence of poses - a practice rooted in strength, discipline, dedication and the power of repetition
in this 90 min immersion we’ll explore āsana (poses) from the primary and intermediate series - breaking down the posture, building a strong foundation and working towards the full pose including some arm balances and inversions - but everything is optional and there is no expectation to attempt anything you don’t feel ready for.
this workshop is for regular students who want to deepen their practice, explore a different style and challenge themselves physically and mentally. not suitable for absolute beginners - if you’ve been practising with me for at least a few months or have your own regular practice you’re welcome to join !
• explore the next level of your asana practice - test your limits in a safe, guided space
• zero pressure - every pose is optional - you choose exactly how far you want to push yourself
• no expectation, just exploration - bring your curiosity and a willingness to try something new !
• build the solid foundation you need to transition into more advanced poses
• challenge your mind and body to break away from your usual practice
• a masterclass for regular yoga practitioners : this is your opportunity to explore something deeper
