BEYOND THE VEIL: AUTUMNAL FOLK SONGSDrawing on seasonal repertoire from late Appalachian greats such as Jean Richie, Doc Watson, Dolly Parton, the Child Ballads, and from contemporary and trad. folk archives, Ash will explore themes of transition, longing, mystery, spirit encounters, and bounty at harvest time. Local guest musicians and storytellers will drop by for a song or two in a traditional porch sittin' style.
