Brazilian guitarist Artur Menezes has been a standout figure in the blues world since releasing his debut album in 2010. His music blends fiery, hard-rocking blues with intricate jazz grooves, creating a distinctive sound that reflects his Brazilian roots. Artur’s masterful guitar playing and soulful songwriting have earned him widespread acclaim, including the Gibson/Albert King Award for Best Guitarist and a 3rd place finish at the 2018 International Blues Challenge.
A global performer, Artur regularly tours the US, Europe, and Brazil, headlining festivals and sharing stages with legends like Buddy Guy, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and Eric Clapton at his Crossroads Guitar Festival. In 2024, he joins the prestigious Experience Hendrix Tour and will open for Buddy Guy on select dates. His most recent album, Fading Away, produced by Josh Smith and featuring a guest appearance by Joe Bonamassa, marks a new peak in his career, showcasing his exceptional writing and playing.
Beyond performing, Artur is a dedicated educator, teaching at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA, and creating online courses for platforms like TrueFire and JamPlay. He also co-founded Brazil’s "Casa do Blues," promoting blues through free concerts, workshops, and lectures. Artur’s influence extends beyond the stage—he’s a TEDx speaker, sharing his passion for music with audiences worldwide.
Tickets are valid for one show only. The doors open at 5:15pm, the first show begins at 6:30pm and the second show at starts 9:00pm. We begin seating for the second show at 8:15pm. Seating is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, we recommend that customers arrive early to secure preferred seating. Singles patrons will be at sat at the bar.
