About this Event
This Pure Malts Whisky Tasting is an in-person event that will dive into one of the oldest operating distilleries in Scotland, The Glen Garioch. They don't really use the "The" anymore in their name, but it certainly will be a good reminder of how important this Scotch distillery is, and how it has changed over all these decades. We will be diving into bottles from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and 00s - to compare and contrast styles as the distillery went from craft to modern automation. This will certainly be an EXCEPTIONAL tasting for one of our top three distilleries of all time!
The pour list lineup:
- 1960s: 21yr official distillery bottling
- 1970s: QE2 decanter, 21yr blue decanter, 33yr travel exclusive single cask
- 1980s: 34yr Berry Bros single cask
- 1990s: 29yr distillery exclusive single cask
- 2000s: 13yr sherry single cask
Plus a special bonus pour!
This event will be held at the Amador Club in downtown San Francisco. Tickets include the tasting and light bites/charcuterie. This is a One Night Only event!
