About this Event
🎶 Guitar for Veterans
Arts for Veterans Initiative | The Venue at 1201
Music has a way of reaching places words sometimes can’t.
This beginner-friendly guitar class is designed specifically for veterans who are interested in learning — or returning to — the instrument in a relaxed, supportive environment. No prior experience is required.
Participants will:
• Learn basic chords and strumming patterns
• Practice simple songs together
• Build confidence at their own pace
• Connect with other veterans through music
Whether you’ve never picked up a guitar or you’re brushing off old skills, this class offers a steady, welcoming space to explore creativity through sound.
🎸 Please bring your own instrument. If you do not have one, let us know so we can plan accordingly.
