About this Event
Responding to the exhibition Time Well Spent, in collaboration with the Irish Pr*son Service, this panel discussion will consider the role of arts education in prisons. Exploring the impact and value of training programmes, this conversation between Pr*son teaching staff and artists formerly in custody will reflect on the transformative potential of creative practice within the Pr*son environment. The discussion will consider how access to the arts can support personal development and self-expression, both during and beyond incarceration.
