ArtLab: Japanese Washi-Lantern (6+)

Discover how to make a beautiful lantern with colorful Japanese washi paper. You tear the paper into pieces and stick them on a balloon. At home, you let the lantern dry. Then you take out the balloon and a beautiful, translucent washi lantern remains. With a LED light, your artwork gives a warm and cozy ambiance.

This workshop is led by Hiroshi Sakai of Flowertelling, a Japanese artist who loves introducing kids to traditional Japanese art forms.
