✨ Artistic Ladies – A Handmade Creative Journal ✨Join Kate from Kate’s Krafty Empire and Lara from Red Spine Bindery for a very special hands-on journal-making day, combining bookbinding and mixed-media creativity into one beautiful project.
Throughout the day, we'll work together in a relaxed, flowing format, with Lara and Kate each taking small groups at different stages of the project. While one group is learning how to build their handmade A5 mixed media journal from scratch with Lara, another group will be getting creative with Kate and beginning to decorate and build their pages using the stunning 3Quarter Designs Artistic Ladies Collection.
As the day progresses, you'll move between the two creative stations, gradually bringing all the elements together to create your own unique journal.
With Kate, you'll explore layering, stitching, texture and embellishment, using the gorgeous 3Quarter Designs Artistic Ladies collection alongside beautiful fabrics, ribbons, lace, threads and other decorative elements.
We'll build the pages with lots of dimension and detail, giving each journal its own personality.
And because you're creating the actual journal structure from scratch, you'll finish the day with something truly special — a completely handmade book, from the binding right through to the beautifully decorated pages inside.
