About this Event

Join us on Friday, November 20th, from 12-2 PM for an artist talk where exhibiting artist Janet M. Mueller discusses her inspiration, process and research behind the work, Wake Up the American Dream.

Sitting with CAMPer Gabe Torres, the talk will include discussions on the exhibition's themes, the emergence of fiber art, and an artist's perspective on the makings of The Epistle. As an artist working in paintings, sculptures, and installations, Mueller creates distorted characters that illicit commentary on heavy topics such as poverty, government corruption, and women's issues. Mark your calendars and stay tuned for more information on future talks during the run of the exhibition.
