Israeli artist Igal Fedida joins us for an open-house style gallery viewing, followed by an artist talk and Q&A. Fedida’s abstract and mixed-media work draws on Jewish text, spirituality, and the process of creation, incorporating raw materials such as wood, metal, and construction paints alongside brush and canvas. His Genesis Series explores biblical narratives and themes of creation and transformation through texture, color, and movement. This program is sponsored by our Israel Committee.Guests are invited to browse the exhibition, hear directly from the artist about his creative practice, and engage in thoughtful conversation together. Coffee, Israeli wine, and Middle Eastern treats will be served. Artwork will be available for purchase, with a portion of proceeds benefiting Society Hill Synagogue.
Advance registration is required for all attendees: https://forms.gle/6SWDSm4SwzfeTA738
