Join us inside The Sacred Place of the Most High for a conversation with artist Amanda Christine Harth and curator Justin Dwaun Redding, moderated by Anefertiti Bowman. The conversation moves through the room itself, the memories behind it, the Psalm 91 verses that give each altar its name, and the hands that helped make it, from Jordan Campbell's altars to Mack Baker's ceramic vessels and Hard Broom's incense. Audience Q&A follows.
Doors open at 1 PM, and the talk begins at 1:30 PM. Admission is free with RSVP, and seating is limited.
The Sacred Place of the Most High is on view at the Design Museum of Chicago through October 23. Presented by NAOMI Projects.
