ANF Architects is pleased to present Artist Narratives, an exhibition featuring the work of Rivertown Artists, a collective of nine women artists who share their passion for art and support one another’s creative development.Founded in the Memphis area in 1997, Rivertown Artists meets monthly for critiques, technique reviews, art discussions, and opportunities to exhibit their work. The group encourages each artist to develop her own creative voice while benefiting from the perspective and support of fellow artists.
The exhibition features work by Shirlee Clark, Liz Williams, Renee Wilson, Carol L. Adamec, Meg Jones, Jane Fulmer, Laura Edwards, Felicitas Sloves, and Mary K. VanGieson. Their work spans watercolor, oil, acrylic, mixed media, fabric, ceramics, handwoven tapestries, collage, eco prints, and other experimental media.
Artist Narratives explores the unique stories and perspectives of each artist through their use of color, imagery, and materials. Together, the works offer viewers an opportunity to experience the individual passions and creative journeys of the Rivertown Artists.
Join us for the opening reception October 2nd from 5-7pm. The exhibition will be on display at ANF Architects’ gallery from 10/2 - 10/29 and is free and open to the public. Viewing hours are Monday - Thursday from 8am - 5pm and Fridays from 8am - 3pm. All pieces are available for purchase with cash, check, or credit card.
