Support the Karl Stirner Arts Trail’s art and free community programs at the ninth annual Artful Dash 5K Run/Walk.Whether you’re chasing a personal best or enjoying a walk with friends, the ninth annual Artful Dash 5K Run/Walk offers a fun way to support the Karl Stirner Arts Trail. The race begins at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 11, with proceeds benefiting the trail’s art installations and free community programs.
The chip-timed, dog-friendly event is open to participants of all ages. Children younger than 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
The course begins behind Don Juan Mex Grill on North Third Street, follows Bushkill Drive for a quarter-mile, then continues onto the main section of the Karl Stirner Arts Trail. The turnaround and water station are located at the 13th Street parking lot.

Awards will be presented after the race to the top finishers by age group and gender.
The arts trail is also seeking race sponsors and volunteers to help make the event a success.
