Artist Talk: Ronald Forbes Join acclaimed Perthshire artist Ronald Forbes for an illustrated artist talk, and screening of his recent film Hello and Goodbye.
Born and raised in rural Perthshire, Forbes’ work explores illusion, belief and reality - and the often-fuzzy edges between them.
His observations of the urban view of country life led him to explore the ways through which we perceive and express our understanding of the world, and the place of nature in that narrative.
This event offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into the development of a sustained and internationally respected artistic practice, and will be of particular interest to artists, students and anyone interested in visual art, perception and the natural world.
