Join us for a tour of the current exhibit, Space In Between, and see works inspired by health, healing, and the imagination. Then, using watercolor and graphite, create an imaginary creature or machine inspired by Kevin Haran’s intricate mixed media drawings. We’ll incorporate symbolic survival traits into your artwork and focus on the process of painting and drawing as a hands-on outlet for creative self-expression. No prior experience is necessary, and all supplies are provided. Art of Healing is open to anyone (ages 16 & up) in need of reflective time, including caregivers, survivors, and those who have lost a loved one. The art outreach program is free, but requires participants to register in advance. Wait list registration will open when program is full. The same project will be taught at both September workshops (10/15 & 10/29), so please only sign up for ONE of the dates. If you need assistance registering, please call the museum at 386-676-3347.
