Artist Wayne Youle has decades of experience creating across a number of disciplines, and is always deeply engaged with his community through teaching workshops across multiple age groups. While his exhibition Back in Five is showing at The Dowse, teachers have the opportunity to join a workshop led by Youle specifically aimed at educators. Consisting of multiple shorter activities, the workshop will focus on ways to engage students’ creative sparks, working together on a project rather than focusing on individual ownership, emphasising the process rather than the finished piece, and breaking down any preciousness when it comes to sharing.
