The glass plate negative to the Cyanotype, also known as the “sun print,” is one of the oldest known photographic pairings in the history of photography and one of the most archival.
Students in this session will be using spray paint, natural objects and glass etching to create a negative of his/her choosing. This negative will then be contact printed onto the cyanotype solution-coated watercolor paper to make one-of-a-kind prints. This is where history meets the contemporary in the coolest way. If you’re looking for an awesome way to spend a few hours, bring a friend and don’t want to miss!
