Arts Award Discover at Weymouth Library
Join us for Arts Award Discover, a fun and creative programme that encourages children to explore different art forms, learn about artists, and create their own work while working towards a nationally recognised Arts Award certificate. Arts Award helps young people develop creativity, confidence, communication and teamwork skills.
- For children aged 5-11
- Running for 6 weeks
- Nationally recognised award
No previous experience is needed, just a willingness to get creative, try new things, and have fun! All materials will be provided.
Each session will include a range of hands-on creative activities, opportunities to share ideas, and simple portfolio work to record participants' discoveries and achievements.
Important: To achieve the award, participants are expected to attend all sessions. If a session must be missed, additional work will need to be completed at home to ensure all Arts Award requirements are met and the certificate can be awarded.
