Explore art using all your senses in Saturate Your Senses, a hands-on workshop designed for youth with autism and their families. Through storytelling, movement, sensory exploration, and creative art-making, participants will discover new ways to experience and connect with art.We'll explore artwork in the galleries through movement and interactive activities that engage our senses. Then, we'll head to the studio to experiment with the soft, squishy texture of Model Magic, shaping and creating unique works of art.
Art + Autism is a welcoming and inclusive group program that centers youth with autism while encouraging families and support people to explore and create together. We recognize that participation looks different for everyone and encourage each group to engage in ways that feel comfortable.
Art + Autism is a group experience, and we ask that everyone attending participate in ways that work for their family. Adults and support people may help guide their child through introductions, gallery activities, and art-making. We welcome different levels of participation and encourage families to do what feels comfortable for them.
No previous art experience is needed. Come ready to move, explore, and create together!
