About this Event
As part of the Ephemeral exhibition, join the Utah Native Plant Society and Swaner for an art-making workshop inspired by the landscapes, plants, and cultural significance of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. Participants will learn about the region's unique natural resources, as well as some of the environmental and land management challenges affecting the landscape today.
Using block printing and collage techniques, participants will create their own artwork celebrating Grand Staircase-Escalante. No prior experience required!
At the end of the workshop, participants have the option to donate completed prints to Grand Staircase-Escalante Partners to help raise awareness about the unique ecosystems of the monument.
This workshop is designed for adults and is not recommended to those under 13 years of age.
