Overview
Learn something new about the arts and connect with fellow art enthusiasts at Art After Dark at Shyboy! Dance professional Silas Farley kicks off the night by walking through three pieces of music he has choreographed to in a special dance centered Sound Advice. Then head to the cocktail lounge for custom themed cocktails, live dance excerpt from SMU Meadows dance students, and stay as the DJ turns the night into a dance party.

- Sound Advice talk with Silas Farley featuring his choreographic process in relation to 3 different pieces of music
- Live dance excerpt performed by SMU Meadows dance students
- Custom drink flight inspired by the three Sound Advice pieces, available for purchase
- DJ set to close out the night

- 7:00-8:30 p.m. Cocktail hour + dance excerpt

What is Sound Advice? Sound Advice is a recurring series that dives deep into the music in thoughtful ways curated by guest DJs and selectors. Taking place in The Blue Room, it is a seated, intimate listening session often combined with storytelling. Thanks to the room's custom OJAS speakers and photoplayer, it’s a way to experience vinyl and high-fidelity sound unlike any other the city.
