About this Event
A club night fundraiser in support of and co-curated by Oroko Radio, J*il Time Records and Radio Alhara, during London Design Festival and Shoreditch Design Week,
The sounds of global movement land in London celebrating a city built on the arrivals of people, rhythm, culture, joy and resistance. Your ticket is your donation and every penny raised goes directly to these three non-profit organisations doing incredible cultural work:
- Oroko Radio - an independent radio station based in Accra, Ghana.
- J*il Time Records - a music label born in New Bell Central Pr*son in Douala, Cameroon.
- Radio Alhara - music broadcast to the world from Bethlehem, Palestine

Kikelomo b2b Sippin' T: Oroko Radio co-founder meets BBZ co-founder = special. House, bass, Afro, jungle, Brazilian funk.
Bint Mbareh: Palestinian sound researcher turning the dancefloor into a border dissolution
Bok Bok: Night Slugs don. Grime, house, techno, US club. London's soundsystem weight fused with sounds from across the Atlantic.
Kem Kem: Diaspora archivist pushing the boundaries of open format from Afrofunk to Amapiano and Dancehall to House.

Coming together to dance is a statement about the beauty of movement - a reminder that London, like other cities, is not one place, but many places.
