Army of Darkness / 1992 / USA / Dir: Sam Raimi / 96 Min In a move that was bold above all else, Sam Raimi ends his notorious Evil Dead Trilogy in the Middle Ages as a fantasy-horror-comedy adventure that's at least twice as absurd as it sounds. Our unwilling hero Ash (played as always by the legendary Bruce Campbell) confronts the medieval dead chin-first in a selfish effort to return to his unexceptional 20th-century existence, only saving the world along the way should the responsibility be forced upon him.
Kiss your nerves goodbye, Saskatoon! This halloween season Sam Raimi's original EVIL DEAD trilogy returns to the Broadway theatre in all of its rampaging glory!
Follow the seemingly indestructable ASH as he shambles across an unparraled arch from a hapless punching bag to the otherworldly deadite hordes in an isolated Tennessee cabin into a chisled, chainsaw-armed time-traveler sent across aeons to ruin his own future.
