Armadillo Christmas Bazaar returns December 12-21 as one of the longest standing holiday events in Austin, taking place at the Palmer Events Center (900 Barton Springs Road, Austin, Texas 78704).
Nearly 200 artists will be attending this year’s Bazaar. This curated lineup spans collectible fine art, heirloom and statement pieces, beautifully made objects for everyday life, and thoughtful gifts in every price range – from wall art, sculpture and jewelry to ceramics, glass, woodwork, leather, textiles and artisan goods, with plenty of smaller finds and stocking stuffers along the way.The iconic Austin holiday market’s music lineup for this year includes new acts like Lew Apollo, Louisiana Surf Department, Jennifer Foster and the Audacity, alongside returning Armadillo musicians like Ruthie Foster, Shinyribs, Gina Chavez and more.
A wonderful way to kick off the holidays, Armadillo brings Austin artists, musicians and holiday tradition together under one roof, with art, shopping, food, seasonal cocktails and family-friendly fun throughout the Bazaar. For 2026, visitors can choose the Armadillo experience that fits them best.
This year’s schedule introduces more flexibility for visitors, with different days and hours designed around the experience they want. A VIP hour on opening day, Dec. 12 from 10–11 a.m., offers collectors and early shoppers first access to the artist floor, while weekday happy hour sets create a more relaxed after-work mix of art, drinks and live music. With longer hours on select days and up to three live music performances, guests have more time to settle in, shop and enjoy the music, making Armadillo an easy choice for music fans, multigenerational families and Austinites entertaining holiday guests.
