Arkki Architecture & Design Studio | Ages 14–16

For students ready to explore architecture and design in greater depth.

Working through focused design briefs, students explore how architects observe, think, draw, test and communicate ideas. Each project develops a particular area of architectural practice, allowing students to build their skills progressively.

Students will explore at different stages and course terms:
- Architectural and spatial drawing
- Design thinking process
- Floor plans, elevations, sections, form and scale
- Rapid prototyping and iterative model-making
- Materials, structure and spatial experience
- Site assessment
- Presenting and explaining a design proposal
The programme is conducted in a small-group studio format and guided by a practising architect and educator.
Drawings, models and presentation work from each project can also contribute towards a student’s developing portfolio.

No prior architectural experience is required.
