Arketa Foundation’s mission is to educate and teach empowerment-based self-defense designed to imbue women and girls with skills that will lead to increased awareness, confidence, and safety. This program is focused on violence prevention.This is a 7–8-hour workshop taught in two sessions, October 17 and 24. Participants will need to attend both Saturdays for the complete workshop. You only need to register once using this link https://cityofalbany.libcal.com/event/17134745; participants will automatically be enrolled in both sessions.
Our class is for women of all ages. Girls ages 13-17 must be accompanied by an adult. This is a physical class so please wear comfortable clothing, shoes, and bring a water bottle.
