About this Event
Join Arizona Alumni – DFW for a happy hour and fireside chat exploring one of the biggest questions facing professionals in North Texas: Why DFW?
Our featured guest, University of Arizona alumnus Rick Chesney, is co-founder and Managing Partner of Sentinel Peak Capital Partners. Rick brings experience from Goldman Sachs and commercial real estate investment, along with a close view of the economic forces shaping the Dallas-Fort Worth region.
We’ll talk about why DFW continues to grow, the economic drivers behind that growth, and what the next several years could mean for professionals building their careers here. The conversation will touch on corporate investment and relocation, the region’s evolving business landscape, real estate and other factors helping shape North Texas.
The fireside chat will be moderated by fellow Wildcat Colleen Bagnall Perra ’83. Colleen earned her BA in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Arizona, spent 14 years as a nightly news anchor at KGUN-TV in Tucson, and later served in development leadership with the Eller College of Management.
This isn’t just a speaker event. We’ll have plenty of time before and after the conversation to grab a drink, meet other Arizona alumni in DFW and connect with fellow Wildcats.
Whether you’ve built your career in North Texas, recently moved here or are simply interested in where DFW is headed, we hope you’ll join us at Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar in Plano.
