About this Event
Spend an October evening with sculptor Erin McGuiness at the Teahouse, where select works will be presented for a closer look before their gallery debut.
Erin’s ceramic forms evoke bones, weathered remnants and the relationship between the body and the earth. Their surfaces and openings invite attention to what remains, what changes and what we carry within us. Arid Echoes offers time to explore these works in Erin’s company, ask questions and share conversation over cocktails, passed hors d’oeuvres and music inspired by the desert landscape.
Presented by the Teahouse and Norman Dudley Fine Art, the reception will take place on the patio, weather permitting. Your ticket includes hors d’oeuvres, and an open bar with cocktails, wine, beer and nonalcoholic beverages.
The evening precedes What Changes Without Leaving, opening October 23 at Norman Dudley Fine Art, where Erin’s sculpture will be shown alongside paintings by Josefin Tolstoy.
